*the light continued to recede as night overtook the forest, the wind blew through her pitch black robes as Masque stood waiting for her partner* "i thought i told him to be here by sundown", said Masque in her strangely metallic voice. "he knows i hate waiting and besides our prey will escape us if we linger too long....."

"My dear u shud learn to trust me a tad bit more", replied a large red and black crow perched on the limb above her do u think i wud shirk such an important mission tsk tsk....altho i shud say tht u were the tardy one if my clock were to b judged...", finished the crow.

"hmph i prefer working with professionals not some extravagant bird brain however i suppose it cant b helped u are only u of course....", remarked Masque as she begins heading away.

"bird brain eh? perhaps i am a bird brain but at least this bird brain knows how to avoid being followed...", the crow finishes as leaves rustle in the distance...

When night befell the forest all sorts of interesting things started to rouse. Celinda on the other hand was sitting quietly sitting by a pond, watching her reflection in the mirror like surface. "Night 227," managed to escape her small painted lips. Sure she could have moved from this spot anytime she wanted, but what exactly was there for a puppet with no master to do. She use to have a master, but he left her here, at the very pond, with which she could see her reflection. She wasn't as 'dolled up as she used to be when she had her master to take care of her. She was definitely in poor condition, her joints were stiff and her once polished finish was dirty and dull. Her hair was in a tattered mess, with all kinds of dirt mangled in her curls. Yet she still had a glimmer of hope in her eye and glossy red toy heart, that her old master would come back and fix her up.

It seemed hopeless to wait because her master did leave her so he could start a new life with some girl he married. Celinda didn't mind she just wanted him to be happy...that's what a puppet is to do right? Be happy for their master because he told her to be happy for him. No, that couldn't be right, but that was all she knew. So there she was sitting at the edge of a pond, leaned up against a solemn oak tree. She has been in that same spot for 227 nights and she would wait some more until someone, hopefully her master would come and find her.

"Well this seems to be interesting...Bastian watch my Reaper for me it seems i have sum matters to attend to...", comments Masque as she leaves her large cloaked body bhind.

*masque moves quietly through the forest till the trees open up to the moonlit pond* "Well well what a rare treat itz not often I find such a jewel of a puppet...", remarks Masque

Celinda sat up as fast as her poorly maintenance frame would let her, which wasn't very fast at all. She sense a presence and heard a voice speak. She clearly what exactly the voice was saying. Honestly she thought it was her old master but this energy was way different. Celinda placed a hand over her red toy heart and managed to choke out "This is true what you say." Of course Celinda was agreeing with the statement the voice made. Not out of any type of pride Celinda had, especially in her poor condition, but because of her maker. A man with mysterious magic and a fantastical knowledge of puppets and their abilities and potential. If only her old master saw her as something to be prixed for she was among the few puppets her creator made in his prime of power.

Celinda managed to turn her head in the direction of the energy she was sensing. "You are very powerful," she managed a small smile, her body seem almost locked in it's position. The events to unfold definitely are to be interesting .

"Well I can see you've been neglected for such a long time now......how would you like too join me you would have plenty of company?" *as she asks strands of beautiful silvery string begins to flow from her body*

Satsugaisha, an assassin beyond assassins, appears fading in black just a couple of feet away from Celinda and the mysterious puppet master.

"So it seems the puppet without a master is here, I will capture her and finish my mission. . . however, there also seems to be a nuisance. Woman undo your silly strings this puppet is mine"

Satsugaisha begins to walk toward Celinda for his capture while every step he makes is completely silent.

"You would dare separate me from this jewel? You must not realize who it is that you're fighting....I am Masque, the Arcane Puppetress, and ill ask that you move away from her...*as she finishes she holds out her hands and pulls as you hear a slight hum, a moment later a tall cloaked scythe weilding figure rushes from the forest, as Masque jumps back into the trees*

"How bout some play time?" *the figure rushes at Satsugaisha with immense speed as he cuts him off from Celinda*

Using the tree to support and help herself up, Celinda stood shakily beofre standin stil. This man who came out of the shadows claiming to be near in completing a mission was one of admirable stature. While on the other hand this woman, who's name is Masque, was indeed a very experience Puppeteer. "Before this fight can commence the conditions must be stated clearly and a blood promise must be made," Celinda almost looked like she was gaining back some vigor to her frame. "These are the rules for the rights of possession over a puppet, You do remember these don't you Satsu," Celinda had a smirk after calling the cloaked puppet a nickname which she hadn't used in years. The truth of the matter was that Satsugaisha and Celinda once crossed paths before. For a brief time they had the same master, but for a reason unknown to both of them Celinda was sent off somewhere over seas. Let's just say Celinda has experience this incident many times before.

Satsugaisha fades out into black right before the puppets scythe hits him, he then fades in black once again continuing his walk towards Celinda showing no fear because fear itself feared Satsugaisha. He suddenly stops his advance and waves his right hand once in a vigorous, abrupt manner as a black-steel gauntlet now covers his right hand fully.

"A condition? Blood Promise you say? Seeing as the only life forms here are me and that foolish woman, i can easily make the promise that blood will spill quite profusely."Satsugaisha makes a slight chuckle at his sarcastic but also very serious statement.Well, Celinda what are these conditions? Oh, and if you wish to know what happened to our "Master" let's just say i was never a puppet I have always been an assassin since the age of 7 I will kill anyone or thing I am hired to kill even if it means acting as a puppet. So yes i slew our "Master" as that was my job and guts do I LOVE IT! Now think me not a puppet because I surely am not. I'm an assassin and forever will be.

"Hmph and here i thought Bastian was a fool...Flash Pact" *as you continue toward Celinda a large burn suddenly flares through ure body as a large ornate white cross is embedded in ure chest as light pours from it filling the area* "You should listen when a female talks its common courtesy...."
